CoBRAIN Showcased at the 40th National Metallurgy Conference

On September 12, 2024, we were honored to have our project coordinator, prof. Giovanni Bolelli UNIMORE, presented CoBRAIN Project at the prestigious 40th National Conference of the Italian Association of Metallurgy (AIM). Held at the historic University of Napoli “Federico II”, this event gathered top researchers, academics, and industry professionals from across Italy.

The AIM National Conference is one of the most significant events in the Italian metallurgy community, offering a platform for experts to exchange ideas and discuss the latest advancements in materials science. The conference typically includes dedicated sessions on coatings and tribology, which are key areas of focus for the CoBRAIN Project.

UNIMORE’s presentation highlighted CoBRAIN’s groundbreaking work in enhancing sustainable practices and innovations within coatings technology. By exploring new strategies for improving material performance, CoBRAIN aims to drive innovation in the Thermal Spray Coatings and related industries.

The conference was conducted in Italian and attracted participants not only from academia but also from key industrial sectors, including coating shops and end-users of coating technologies. The event provided a unique opportunity for networking, knowledge sharing, and fostering collaborations to advance the future of thermal spraying.

We are proud to contribute to this impactful forum and continue advancing the frontiers of sustainable material solutions.
