University of Barcelona Represents CoBRAIN at NACSC 2024

CoBRAIN is excited to announce the participation of our esteemed partner, Prof. Sergi Dosta from the University of Barcelona, at the North American Cold Spray Conference 2024 (NACSC 2024), taking place in, Boucherville in Canada, September 10-11.
The NACSC 2024 is a premier event in the field of cold spray technology, bringing together leading experts, researchers, and industry professionals to share insights and advancements. Prof. Sergi Dosta represented CoBRAIN at this prestigious conference, where he presented the development of High-Entropy Alloy (HEA)-based coatings produced by Cold Gas Spraying (CGS). This innovative research is part of Work Package 4 (WP4) of the CoBRAIN project, which focuses on developing advanced materials for industrial applications.
During his presentation, Prof. Dosta highlighted the unique properties and potential applications of HEA-based coatings, emphasizing their significance in enhancing material performance and sustainability. His participation in NACSC 2024 provides a valuable opportunity to disseminate the latest innovations from the CoBRAIN project and engage with fellow researchers and industry stakeholders.

CoBRAIN project has officially launched!
On 24th – 25th of January EXELISIS participated in the hybrid kick-off meeting, of the CoBRAIN project, hosted by UNIMORE in Modena of Italy. CoBRAIN is a HorizonEU project funded by the EU under the topic Advanced materials modelling and characterisation.
EXELISIS is leading activities related to IPR Management and Dissemination & Communication activities under WP7, which were presented along with some guidelines for a successful D&C strategy.
